Checking the Reservation

  • Is the guest's name inputted correctly, in the right order, with proper formatting and punctuation?

  • Is any additional guest profile information inputted correctly, in the right order, with proper formatting and punctuation?

  • Are the dates of stay correct?

  • Is the number of guests correct?

  • Is the number of bedrooms correct?

  • Has the correct rate code and promotional code (if applicable) been used?

  • Has the correct room type been selected?

  • Are the daily rates correct?

  • Has the fixed rate option been applied?

  • Has the print rate option been removed if necessary?

  • Has an appropriate room been allocated for the guest (taking into consideration any guest requests)?

  • If the Do Not Move feature has been selected, is there a trace to explain why the DNM has been applied?

  • Has the correct Agent profile been attached to the reservation?

  • Are the Market, Source and Origin codes correct?

  • Is the correct Reference Number in the Voucher field?

  • Have the payment details been updated correctly and in full? (This includes any routing or card holder name fields).

  • Has payment been taken on the reservation (if required)?

  • Has the Company profile been updated if a Company was provided on the reservation?

  • Have the Special Requests and Arrival Time fields been updated (if the information has been provided on the reservation)?

  • Are the comments correct?

  • Have any traces or alerts been added to the reservation (if required)?

  • Has the guest been contacted if this reservation has been entered manually due to 'Credit Card Expiration Before Arrival' failure?
