Exterior of Entrance:

  • Is the sidewalk and 10 feet around the entrance clean and clear of any snow, ice, mud, garbage, or weeds. If no assign work order to complete

  • Are all tools put away? No visible clutter. If No Put away/remove the clutter, or assign work order to complete

  • There is no visible ice or standing water? If no ice should be salted and standing water should be removed

Front Entrance:

  • Is the front door clean and streak-free? Seals are in good condition, with no visible light through them. If no Create work order for repair

  • Is the shoe rack clean and tidy? If no clean up and remove unneeded products

  • All deliveries are entered into inventory and put away? If no stop the inspection and completed

  • Is the floor clean, dry, and clutter-free? If no assign work order

  • Door to production, window sills, and closet doors clean and free of signs of pest? If no create work order for completion

  • Is the lobby garbage can cleaned inside and out with a new bag to start the day

  • Personal safety equipment is fully stocked? (Masks, hairnets, earplugs, eyewear) with enough in stock for the next week? If no place an order for a replacement

Production Area Floor

  • Is the floor clean, dry, and clutter and spill free?

  • If today's production is with Food grade products (human consumption) are all products within the acceptable shelf life? (If a feed grade production please verify with QA that are products are within acceptable specifications)

  • All tools are put away, all equipment is clean and put away? (This includes mill, expellers, hoppers, augers)

  • All work surfaces and table tops are clean, dry, and clear of any clutter or debris? Including legs, back, underneath the tops

  • The sink area is clean, free of clutter with no standing water? Hose is hung up not sitting in the sink

  • Walls and lights are clean, in good repair? No signs of damage or pests?

  • Fly lights are operational and pest control boxes are in designated locations?

  • Garbage stations are clean and set up with fresh bags?

  • Temperature and Humidity within the acceptable range? (Temp 17C-25C Humidity 30%-85%) Record results from 3 sensors

  • Crude Oil Waste and sediment waste (inspected every day and disposed after production/oil filtration)

Tool/Electrical Room

  • Is the floor clean, dry, and clutter and spill free?

  • Walls, ceiling, and lights are clean, and in good repair? No signs of damage or pests?

  • All tools are put away, and all equipment is clean and put away?

  • Everything is stored to OHS, HACCP, and the Fire Marshal's standards

Bathroom

  • Handwashing station is equipped with soap, paper towels, and hot water over 110F? Record the temperature

  • Sink, toilet, walls, and doors are clean? No visible dirt, stains, signs of pests.

Staircase

  • The staircase is free of obstruction, mat and runners are clean? Railing is Clean?

Kitchen/ Staff Area

  • The microwave is clean, counters are clutter-free, no expired food in the fridge. The floor is swept, the garbage can is clean inside and out, the table is clean. Water cooler has over 25% of a jug?
