  • Thinking about reporting on Health, Safety and Security engagements
To enable reporting back of interventions in the office space we have created a template which will provide a mechanism to deliver this information to relevant audiences and facilitate the consistent delivery of support to the people team.
When conducting a Neighbourhood Unit visit you should consider these factors.
1: Audience – General office worker, Tenancy Manager, Area Manager, other?
2: Nature of engagement – spontaneous vs planned, coaching/ mentoring, corrective or rewarding.
3: Outcome – good or bad, why? Was it a learning engagement? Was it a complaint/ issue/feedback or an idea? Are there any further points to follow-up or action?
4: Interrogate information received from the conversation:
    • Were my questions answered?
    • Do workers understand the critical risks they are exposed to and the controls required to mitigate them?
    • Does the information present an opportunity or risk for HNZC?
    • What does it say about HNZC HSS performance?
    • How well are we performing?
    • Are we doing things right?
    • How can we improve?
    • Could we do things better?
