Door Bell

  • Walk to apartment front door. Open if unlocked and access granted.<br>

  • As you enter, press door bell and confirm chime is heard.

  • Close apartment door behind you.

TOUCH PANEL SECTION

Touch Panel - Lights

  • At the touch panel, turn the panel by pressing the power icon (top right hard button)

  • Does the touch panel display correct time and date.

  • Press Welcome Home and wait for all apartment lights to turn on. Walk around apartment ensuring every light is on.<br>Note any failed light scans locations.

  • Return to touch panel and press Goodbye and wait for all apartment lights to turn off. Walk around apartment ensuring every light is off.<br>Note any failed light scans locations.

  • From the touch panel, select Lights from the tool bar. Ensure all lights are off within this option by checking nothing is highlighted on the screen with regard to the different light settings.

  • Select one room at a time from the touch panel, choosing specific lights/scenes. <br><br>Walk to chose area and confirm light(s) are on.<br>

Touch Panel - Audio

Radio

  • Select Audio from the tool bar.

  • Select each room - one at a time - and press the radio button to activate each room, and use the volume +/- to suit.

  • Walk round the apartment ensuring each loudspeaker is audible.

  • Check that the preset stations are present and correct.

  • Check that both FM and DAB have signal. Tune to 89.10 on FM for BBC Radio 2

  • Press the front door bell and check that the audio is temporarily interrupted by the door chime.

  • Return to the touch panel and press All Rooms Off. Check all loudspeakers are turned off.

iPod

  • Select each room - one at a time - and press the iPod button to activate each room, and use the volume +/- to suit.

  • Unlock the iPod. <br>Open Settings.<br>Select Wi-Fi.<br>Wait for the apartment SSID to appear and enter the password.<br>Exit Settings.<br>Open Music.<br>Select a song and play on Repeat.<br>Select Airplay from on screen options.

  • Walk round the apartment ensuring each loudspeaker is audible.

  • Return to the touch panel and press All Rooms Off. Check all loudspeakers are turned off.

Touch Panel - Video

Freeview

  • Select Video from the tool bar.

  • Select each room - one at a time - and press the Freeview button to activate each room, and use the volume +/- to suit.

  • Walk round the apartment ensuring each TV is on and showing a Freeview TV channel.

  • Return to the touch panel and press All Rooms Off. Check all TVs are turned off.

Blu Ray

  • Select Video from the tool bar.

  • Select each room - one at a time - and press the Blu Ray button to activate each room, and use the volume +/- to suit.

  • Walk round the apartment ensuring each TV is on and showing a inserted disc or Blu Ray players home screen.

  • Return to the touch panel and press All Rooms Off. Check all TVs are turned off.

Touch Panel - Blinds

  • Select Blinds from the tool bar.

  • Select each room - one at a time - and press the Blackout close button to activate blinds in each room. Do Blackout blinds lower?

  • Select each room - one at a time - and press the Blackout open button to activate blinds in each room. Do Blackout blinds raise?

  • Select each room - one at a time - and press the Shades close button to activate blinds in each room. Do Shade blinds lower?

  • Select each room - one at a time - and press the Shades open button to activate blinds in each room. Do Shade blinds raise?

Touch Panel - Intercom

  • Check SIP Server Status is online.

  • Press Concierge button to place a test call. Adjust the volume slider while call is connecting.<br>

  • When connected, ask the Concierge for confirmation of what room you are calling from. If correct, thank the Concierge and end the call.

Touch Panel - Heating

  • Select Heating from the tool bar.

  • Check each room displayed has feedback and a set point.

  • Interact with the system by pressing the +/- buttons.

  • Select Schedule from the tool bar.

  • Interact with the system.

Touch Panel - Settings

  • Select Settings from the tool bar.

  • Select the Doorbell chime selection and preview each chime.

  • Check all audio zones are set to be interrupted by door chime.

AV Rack

  • Check Ethernet patch cables are patched into all ports of the 24 port patch panel.

  • Check loudspeaker cables are plugged in.

  • Check RF aerial cables are plugged in.

REMOTE CONTROL SECTION - Check each equipped room

Remote Control - Video

  • In Living Room / Kitchen / Bedroom(s) locate room MLX3 remote and ready the remote by pressing the side button below the scroll wheel.

  • Use the scroll wheel to highlight Video and select this option by pressing the scroll wheel in.

  • Scroll to and select Freeview. Wait for the TV to turn on. <br>Note: Loewe TVs take approx 30 seconds to calibrate themselves.

  • Turn the volume up and down.

  • Press Mute. Check audio is muted. Press Mute.

  • Select Info. Check TV for display. Press Exit.

  • Select Menu. Check TV for display. Press Exit.

  • Press Red button to activate Interactive services and follow TVs on screen prompts.<br>

  • Press the side button below the scroll wheel to return to Video Source Selection. Scroll to and select Blu Ray.

  • Check TV is on and showing a inserted disc or Blu Ray players home screen.

  • Press the side button below the scroll wheel to return to Video Source Selection.

  • Press and hold the top button on the remote for 5 seconds and wait for the TV to turn off.

Remote Control - Audio

  • Use the scroll wheel to highlight Audio and select this option by pressing the scroll wheel in.

  • Scroll to and select Radio.

  • Check that both FM and DAB have signal. Tune to 89.10 on FM for BBC Radio 2. Check all DAB presets.

  • Press the side button below the scroll wheel to return to Audio Source Selection. Scroll to and select iPod.

  • Unlock the iPod. <br>Open Settings.<br>Select Wi-Fi.<br>Wait for the apartment SSID to appear and enter the password.<br>Exit Settings.<br>Open Music.<br>Select a song and play on Repeat.<br>Select Airplay from on screen options.

  • Leaving the iPod playing, use the side button below the scroll wheel to return to Home screen.

  • Use the scroll wheel to highlight Video and select this option by pressing the scroll wheel in.

  • Scroll to and select Freeview. Wait for the TV to turn on. <br>Note: Loewe TVs take approx 30 seconds to calibrate themselves.

  • Use the side button below the scroll wheel to return to Home screen. Scroll to and select All Off. Check both TV and iPod audio turn off.

Remote Control - Lights

  • Press the Lights hard key or use the scroll wheel to highlight Lights and select this option by pressing the scroll wheel in.

  • Select DL Multi Toggle and confirm all DLs turn on. Toggle to check illumination level changes and all DLs turn off.

  • Select Coffers Toggle and confirm all coffer strips turn on. Toggle to check all coffer strips turn off.

  • NOTE: Unable to test 5a fittings functionality

  • Select Shades and confirm Shades lower. Toggle to check blinds stop and raise.

  • Select Blackout and confirm Blackout blinds lower. Toggle to check blinds stop and raise.<br><br>Note: Living a Rooms should not have this functionality.

  • Use the side button below the scroll wheel to return to Home screen.

iPad App

  • Unlock the iPad.<br>Open Settings.<br>Select Wi-Fi.<br>Wait for the apartment SSID to appear and enter the password.

  • Open Crestron App.<br>Click Add System.<br>Name: apartment (no) test<br>Enter IP address form list of IP addresses supplies.<br>Enter IPID: 4a<br>Press Save.<br>Select the apartment and press connect.

  • Check each screen for functionality as previously carried out on the touch panel.<br>Check each screen against the touch panel. Is everything the same - layout, labels, fonts, etc?
