Equipment Condition

  • Is the pushback tractor equipped with chocks?

  • Is the pushback tractor fitted with a serviceable dashcam?

  • Are the pushback tractor headlights (and/or spotlights if available) operational?

  • Is the towbar appropriate for the aircraft being repositioned?

Repositioning Activity

  • Is the pushback tractor properly positioned during the repositioning activity?

  • Did the pushback or tow exceed maneuvering angle limitations?

  • Did the equipment operator pushed back in reverse?

  • Did the equipment operator towed in reverse?

  • Did the headsetman walk alongside the pushback tractor during the pushback process from the bay to the starting point/holding point/taxiway?

  • Are wing guides present during pushback from the original bay and tow-in to the destination bay?

  • Was the pushback/towing conducted based on AMA speed limitations?
