  • Please answer the below questions to determine how well the scope has been followed and how well the cleaning has been performed. The below questions are based on the daily and weekly activities so this audit can be used once a week.

Common area bathrooms, showers and end of trip facilities

  • Have all stains and spillages been removed from the toilets, including the topside and underside of the seats?

  • Have the urinals been cleaned with the removal of stains and spillages

  • Waste bins empty?

  • Are the sinks, bench tops and any exposed pipe work clean and where chrome work is evident has this been polished to a high sheen?

  • Has the floor been wet mopped with all stained removed?

  • Has the shower area been cleaned thoroughly including shower recesses, glass, bench tops, hand basins, wall mirrors, piping and seating?

  • Have all the toilet requisites been replenished?

  • Has all dust been removed from all equipment, window sills and tops of dividing walls/partitions?

  • Is the overall cleanliness of the bathroom acceptable, including the condition of the walls, washable paintwork, tiles, soap dispensers, hand driers and vanities?

Common area tea rooms and kitchens

  • Have all wet waste bins been emptied and washed?

  • Has the recycle bin been emptied?

  • Have the sinks and strainers been cleaned? and where there is stainless steel has this been polished to a high sheen?

  • Have all the external surfaces been damp wiped cleaned? this includes, bench tops, cupboard doors, fridges, ovens, microwaves and all other kitchen appliances which are to be streak and stain free with special attention to the area around the rubbish bins.

  • Have all tables and chairs been cleaned and left in a ready to use position?

  • Has all the resilient kitchen floor areas been mopped and machine buffed?

  • Have all the kitchen requites been replenished?

  • Have all the walls, partitions and ledges been cleaned?

Common area floors, hard surfaces and carpets

  • Have the carpet ares been vacuumed daily and all stained and spillages lifted?

  • Have the hard floors been swept and wet mopped with all stained removed?

  • Have the hard floor surfaces been machine buffed to a natural shine?

Fire stairs and internal stairs

  • Have all marks, stains and graffiti been removed?

  • Has the stairs been swept and spot vacuumed?

  • Have the hand rails been cleaned?

  • Have all cobwebs been removed?

  • Have the stairs, handrails and landings been washed clean?

Lifts and Lift lobbies

  • Is the lobby area in a clean condition, including the walls and the floor?

  • Have the lift interiors been cleaned on all lifts ensuring that the lift floors are vacuumed and mopped with the door tracks free from dirt and litter

  • Are the stainless steel indicators and panels free from dirt and streaks?

  • Have the external lift doors been cleaned and polished?

Car park and external areas

  • Have all the marks, stains and graffiti from external walls been removed?

  • Has the external area been swept and left free from litter and spillages?

  • Have any internal ledges and air vents been dusted? - up to a height of 2m

  • Have all cobwebs been removed? up to a height of 2m

  • is the car park free from oil spills and stains?

  • Are he waste bins in a clean and tidy state?

Glazing

  • Has the internal glass contained within the entrance, including the doors and the facade been cleaned and washed down? up to a height of 2m

  • Have the external windows and glass been cleaned and washed down? up to a height of 2m
