Daily inspection

Operation inspections:

  • Start machine and check for any abnormal noises / vibrations.

  • Does the machine start & run properly?

  • Does the machine function without any abnormal noise / vibration?

  • Does the machine idle and accelerate properly?

  • Is the exhaust gas color and amount usual?

  • Does the brake pedal move freely and feel firm when applied?

  • Does the brake pedal remain off the floor when fully applied?

  • Does the inching pedal function properly?

  • Does the parking brake handle move freely and feel firm when applied?

  • Does the steering wheel move freely, without excessive play?

  • Inspect the seat belt, horn, strobe light, backup alarm, blue reverse light and work lights for proper function.

  • Are all safety items functional and in good condition?

  • Does the horn operate properly?

  • Does the strobe light operate properly?

  • Does the backup alarm operate properly?

  • Does the blue reverse light operate properly?

  • Do the worklights function properly?

  • Is the seatbelt functional, free of cuts/fraying?

  • Do the gauges all operate properly?

  • Do all other lights operate properly?
