Forklift Traffic

Exits

  • Are there enough building exits?

  • Are there signs posted on exits?

  • Are there emergency lights?

  • Have they been tested and found in working order?

  • Are exits unlocked during hours and egress unencumbered?

Ladders

  • Are ladders present in the facility?

  • Are fixed ladders enclosed with cage or basket guard?

  • Are there splinters or sharp edges on ladders?

  • If any scaffolding, can it carry the maximum intended load safely?

Fire Protection

  • Please review the attachment to learn about inspecting fire systems. It is also expected that each fire extinguisher be marked while completing the inspection every 30-days.
