  • Is the nozzle assembly dropping and rising?

  • Check to see if the c-slot sensors, located on the cylinder, are lighting up both on the sensors themselves and on the I/O screen notification, as the nozzle cylinder is fully at the top and fully at the bottom.

  • Are all the nozzles opening and closing?

  • Are the lids dispensing into the chute?

  • Can you hear the cylinder shuttle back and forth?

  • Using the button the I/O screen and try to shuttle the cylinder, if the cylinder does not shuttle, watch the red lights on the MAC valves to see if they are lighting up when the button is pressed. Do the lights on the MAC valve light up?

  • Using the extended long nose pliers, originally provided with the line, and not your hand or fingers, push up on the lid stack from below the black block. Did the stack move?

  • remove all the lids from the top and Look for lids stuck in this area using the pliers to clear and pull out any jams.

  • Are the lids getting bunched up or thrown out at the top?

  • adjust either or both of the flow controls on the lid knife cylinder using a precision flat blade screwdriver to change the force of the lids coming out into the chute.

  • Are the lids getting stuck in the chute?

  • Have you recently changed lids or manufacturers?

  • Check the old lids against the new lids using your calipers for a thickness or width difference

  • Check to make sure none of the lids you are using are wet (wet lids will jam the chute). Disassemble the lid chute and clean. Be sure all parts are completely dry prior to reassembly.
