Pre Shift

  • Associate wears proper safety equipment at all times including: eyewear, face shield, steel toe boots, seat belt and harness

  • While operating forklift the associate keeps arms and legs within the cage at all times to avoid injuring self while working.

  • Associate uses 3 points of contact when getting on to forklift.

  • While operating a forklift the associate maintains safe work practices at all times?<br> -ensures trailer is chocked before entering the trailer. <br> -uses horns correctly to warn others in advance.<br> -observes proper travel path and right away<br> -travels at a safe rate of speed. <br> -secures product on forklift correctly and safely moves product to destination. <br> -parks forklift in a safe place at all times. <br>
