Section 1: External

  • Is the building and external signage up to date and in good condition?

  • Is the Car Park clear from rubbish and debris, are parking bay lines clearly marked?

  • Is the front door up to date i.e. Vet Names, Clinic/Hospital Contact details & Emergency contact?

  • Are the gardens maintained, neat and tidy?

  • Are the paths leading to the clinic free from trip hazards?

Section 2: Housekeeping

  • Is the waiting room clean and tidy?

  • Are client amentities clean and stocked (sanitary bins, toilet paper, soap, etc)

  • Are shelves for food, OTC products in good condition & well stocked with products forward facing

  • Is the Reception desk clean and tidy and free from clutter. Are the displays up to date.

  • Are the wall displays/ posters up to date & in frames without the use of tape/ blue tack

  • Is the flooring clean, free from damage (cuts, holes, tripping hazards etc)

Section 3: Building Maintenance

  • Is the building free from mould (ceiling, walls etc)

  • Are the air conditioning vents clean, free from dust

  • Is there water marks /leaks on the ceiling

Section 4: Team

  • Are staff in uniforms, with name badges

  • Is there a fridge for staff to store lunch/food, is it free from clinical products (e.g. samples, blood tests, vaccines etc)
