  • Is the WMS relevant to the task?

Track Vehicles

  • Is there plant on site with flange wheels / rail traffic capability?<br>(Look at C of C, authorised to operate on the network)

  • Is the PO aware of on track plant and how it is being managed within the worksites?

  • How did the track machine travel to the worksites? (Eg TOA or as a train, manual block worked see ANWT 316)

  • If the track vehicles travelled on a TOA, has the form been properly compiled and fulfilled?

  • If the vehicles travelled as a train, has the movement been advertised? TAA available?

  • Are the track vehicle types approved as fit for purpose in the Train Operating Conditions (TOC) manual / PP-124.1 Track Maintenance Vehicle Registration & Operation?

  • Is the maximum speed plaque clearly displayed within the track machine cabin?

Fatigue Management

  • Has all workers worked less than 8 consecutive shifts?

  • Have all workers been on shift for 12 hours or less on this project?

  • Have all workers had greater than 8 hours break between shifts?

  • Do all workers travel one hour or less to get to or from work?

Tamping

  • Is there a qualified track certifier in attendance?

  • Is there a track certification form available with pre and post measurements available?

  • Contractors - Excavator Tamping - Operating instructions?
