Site Reticulation

  • Please either review a supplied Single Line Diagram- Does as found match as supplied? If none provided, complete a markup for the site on a clean piece of A3 Paper, Take a photo and upload as an attachment to this section. Ensure you include Submain size and qty (ie 4 x 1C 25mm + 6mm E), Breaker size, type and settings (if a settable MCCB).

  • Please complete a markup of any site reticulation ie pit and pipe, cable tray. Please make notes on sizing and spare capacity.

Main Switchboard and Consumer Main Inspection

  • Equipotential Bond- is there one? is one required ie is it copper pipe or poly pipe? General Condition?

  • MEN- Is there an MEN present? is it labelled and of the correct size?

Distribution Board Inspection

  • General Condition of Switchboard (include photo)

  • Switchboard: Labelling complete and compliant?

  • Switchboard: Access to switchboard unimpeded? is there 600mm clear access once the switchboard doors are open?

  • Switchboard: Cable Entries- Are they suitably Bushed/Insulated and sealed- Is the switchboard vermin proof?

  • Switchboard: Inspection Type: Thermal Scanning or visual inspection?

  • Switchboard: busbar/internal wiring- is there no visual evidence of overloading- are connections tight?

  • Circuit protection: Are all breakers compatible to the board type?

  • Circuit protection: Are all breakers orientated in the same direction for on/off?

  • Circuit Protection: Are all circuits RCD protected?

  • Circuit Protection: Complete pushbutton test and record any failed results

  • Circuit Protection: Check line/load connections for correct polarity and tightness
