  • Are wingtip & engine cones properly positioned?

  • Are visual checks made for aircraft damage prior to opening of hold doors?

  • Did the Belt operator use the equipment to open the Aircraft doors by himself on wide-body aircraft?

  • Has Refuelling vehicle arrived?

Unloading:

  • Once positioned, has the Belt been chocked, placed in Neutral with wheels straightened?

Departure:

  • Did the Belt operator use the equipment to close the Aircraft doors by himself on wide-body aircraft?

  • Is equipment is parked in a designated parking area?

  • Is Pushback Tug connected with by-pass pin inserted?

  • Departure FOD check complete?

  • Are Chocks and Cones removed?

  • Is a complete walk-around inspection done to check that all doors and panels are closed and secured & that there is no visible damage to the aircraft?

  • Has Headset person made contact with the Cockpit and removed FEGPU?

Airstart (If Used):

  • Was Airstart connected correctly with sufficient slack in hose?

  • Were clear signals given to supply and terminate HP air supply?

  • Was hose disconnected and stowed correctly?

  • Comments:

  • Wingman present?

  • Is the towbar disconnected properly?

  • Did Driver adopt a safety position to cover the Headset person?

  • Was By-pass pin shown to captain?
