2. Visual Inspection & Lubrication

  • Visually inspect all components for signs of wear and damage

  • Fit cylinders to unit and ensure they are in the correct positions

  • Slowly turn on O2 and Dil mix

5. Electronic Checks

  • Is handset functioning correctly

  • Are batteries working

  • Have all cells calibrated

  • Have the correct gas mixes been updated

6. Pressure tests

  • Perform positive pressure test and pass

  • Perform negative pressure test and pass

7. Pre- breathing

  • Pre breath unit for a minimum 2 minutes

  • Can the temperature header be seen on the hand display

  • Does the ADV work

  • Confirm what position the ADV will be left in <br>
