Opening Manager Duties 6am

  • 6am Greet Seagrille and Lobby Espresso Staff, ensure everyone is started with their set up and have everything they need. Ensure all staff in full uniforms & looking 5 Star

  • 6am Walk kitchen/Greet culinary staff. Report anything out of the ordinary to the chefs

  • 6am Greet IRD team. Check on overnight business. Review email recap of overnight (emailed to BCTBC-IRD, (flow, covers, guest interactions, challenges)

  • 630am Set Seagrille/Ocean Bar MELT (Music, Energy, Lighting, Temperature)

  • 630am Ensure Ocean bar terrace furniture is properly set

  • Print “Leaders in Luxury”, check SALT, prepare for pre-shift

  • Assist on the floor with AM set up as needed (Lobby Espresso, Seagrille or IRD) and ensure all areas open on time

  • Pre-shift at 6:45AM (include Lobby Espresso Attendant) Start on time

  • After pre-shift, assist on the floor as needed

  • 7AM – Ensure Snack opener has arrived and working on checklist

  • Continuously float between Seagrille, Lobby Espresso, Snack and IRD, assist where needed

  • 8AM – Ensure Seagrille rover picks up all reqs from the storeroom (should take a max of 20 mins)

  • 8AM – Snack opens

  • Attend 9AM meeting in GM’s office (week days only)

  • Assist on Floor as needed

  • 1030AM -Ensure Ocean Bar opener has arrived

  • Between 1030-11AM, close Lobby Espresso (based on business demand)

  • Ensure Lobby espresso closing checklist is completed

  • 11:15AM - Assist with breakfast breakdown

  • 11:30am-12:00pm check out Lobby espresso TM’s side work

  • 11:30-12PM – Ensure Ocean Bar opener is set up, has picked up req

  • 12:00pm-12:30pm close out Seagrille breakfast servers

  • Terrace properly cleaned (tables, bird poop, side station)

  • Server station, mats pulled, everything wiped down, floor swept, espresso machine cleaned

  • 12:30pm-1:00pm Enter grats, edit time punches, submit food order for next day

  • 1:00pm do floor walk of hotel

  • 2pm-4pm Assist on the floor as needed, this is your time to complete L10 to dos, office work, etc. Use it wisely

  • 4pm do a floor walk of hotel

Closing Manager Duties – 9:30am

  • 930am Check in with opening manager. Get filled in on things happening, VIPs, issues, staff needs

  • 945AM –Host IRD pre-shift (you need to prepare for this the night before). If you are needed to assist on the floor during breakfast, go directly there after preshift

  • 10am do floor walk

  • 1015am check in with Mini Bar attendant. Review arrives and departures. Ensure all rooms will be checked

  • 10:30AM – check on Snack opener and ensure side work is being completed

  • 11AM - Snack opens

  • 11AM –complete time edits and gratuity sheets for previous day for IRD and Snack

  • 11-1pm – Assist on the floor as needed. This is also office time, work on your L10 to do’s and etc

  • 1pm Mini Bar audits and floor walk of hotel

  • Send findings to AM ops team and add to excel sheet

  • 1:30PM-2PM Check AM IRD servers side work, ensure all tray tables are picked up

  • 2PM – Order taker pass

  • 2pm-230pm Set up Amenities with order takers

  • 230pm- Make sure PM 1st server has completed opening side work

  • On the floor management

  • 3:30PM – check in with mini bar, review all rooms that they have visited. Review DND rooms. Ensure they check DND rooms prior to leaving

  • 4pm NDA Meeting

  • 4pm-430pm insure all amenities have gone up

  • 430pm-5pm submit any orders for next day

  • 5PM – checkout mini bar attendant. Log all DND rooms, place order for next day

  • 530PM IRD pre-shift

  • 6pm Snack closes

  • 6pm walk snack, make sure attendant completes closing side work, place Snack order

  • 630pm Submit Raw Juce numbers and place IRD order for next day

  • 7pm do floor walk of hotel

  • Assist with service as needed

  • Pass down with PM ops SG and Obar
