Is the bed properly assembled with no obvious risks or damage?

Are the electrical cables securely fastened and free from tension and damage

Is the bed clear of obstructions when operated

Do all functions of the bed work correctly

Are there side rails being used?

Do the side rails move freely and lock securely in position

When side rails fitted - is the gap between the headboard and end of the siderails less than 60mm (measure)

Is the gap between the side of the mattress and the inside of the rails less than 60mm? (measure by pushing the mattress away from the side rail being measured until the opposing siderail stops the mattress)

When side rails fitted - is the gap between the footboard and the end of the side rails either smaller than 60mm or greater than 318mm (measure)

When side rails fitted - is the gap between the bottom of the siderail and the top of the mattress platform less than 120mm (measure)

Is the pump switched on?

Is the pump on the correct setting for the residents weight?

Is the gap between the top of the mattress and the headboard less than 60mm?

Is the gap between the footboard and the bottom of the mattress less than 60mm?

Is the distance between the top of the mattress and the top of the side rails greater than 220mm?

Are there bed rail bumpers in place?

Is the material in good order? (ie no tears, rips or fading of waterproof covering?)
