• Change oil at normal operating temperature (BMW recommends BMW 5W-30 High Performance Synthetic Oil)

• Change oil filter at normal operating temperature

• Reset service interval indicator.

• Replace microfilter.

• Check the overall thickness of the front and rear disc brake pads. If replacement is necessary, BMW instructs the owner to examine brake disc surfaces, clean brake pad contact points on calipers, grease wheel centering hubs, and to only check the thickness of the parking brake linings only when replacing the rear pads.

• Check parking brake actuation and adjust if necessary.
