Filter change instructions

  • Vi-2 - Still & Sparkling

  • Turn off mains water, remove filter and replace with service cartridge and fill with required amount of sanitising solution and re-connect to turn on the water supply and power

  • On the font activate the Still water and dispense 4 litres of Still water

  • When Carbonator has finished filling, open Sparkling tap and dispense 4 litres of Sparkling water

  • Allow the sanitising solution to be in the system for no less than 30 minutes before flushing out at least 4 litres from each of the Still tap and Sparkling taps

  • Check for leaks on all fittings

Flushing the System of Sanitizer

  • Turn water supply off and remove the service cartridge and fit the filter. Turn water supply on.

  • Activate the Still and flush water through until it runs clear and no air bubbles can be seen. Turn booster switch OFF located on the Chiller/Carb box. Activate the Sparkling tap and flush unit just CO2 gas appears.

  • Turn booster switch on. When Carbonator has finished filling open Sparkling tap and dispense 4 litres of Sparkling water. Turn booster switch off.

  • Repeat process, open Sparkling tap and flush until just CO2 gas. Switch booster supply on Let Carb fill and open Sparkling tap and dispense 4 litres of Sparkling water. Both Still and Sparkling water should now be fully flushed and free of sanitising solution and air bubbles.

  • Visually check and taste test from both taps. Repeat if required.

  • Check outlet Cold water temperature should be approx. 5°C

  • Set the flow rate of the sparkling and still, at 20 seconds per litre, by adjusting flow control valve with 8mm Allen key next to the Still and Carb out.

Vi SYSTEM TEST: The below functions and setting must be checked upon every visit:

  • Sparkling (approx. 20 seconds 1 litre pour time)

  • Water pours smoothly without water hammering

  • Refrigeration operating and water ice cold (approx. 5°C)

  • Water cooler fan operating

  • CO2 pressure set to 70psi

  • CO2 tank secured and upright

  • System completely checked for leaks in CO2 and water

  • Water bath full

  • Agitator motor in water bath working (see under cover red spinning wheel)

  • Machine is level (adjust legs if necessary)

  • Water taste tested and tastes good

  • Operating instructions displayed near system

  • System completely wiped down and drip tray emptied

  • All water lines insulated, including hot and cold from the modules to font

  • Nozzle of unit is removed and cleaned, check for presentation and replaced if required

  • Check CO2 washer for damage and replace

FILTER SECTION

  • Safety glasses worn while handling sanitiser

  • “Do not use” sign hung on tap(s) while sanitising

  • Sanitiser allowed to sit in system for at least 20 minutes

  • Condenser grill positioned free from dust/debris

  • System fully flushed of sanitising solution
