• PURPOSE:CLG913FCR/915 FCR engine diesel oil fine filter and oil inlet and return pipes have the risk of reverse connection, which needs to be checked and rectified.

• CAMPAIGN CLOSING DATE: The deadline is January 24th, 2024. Please submit claim in DMS within 30 days after modification. If you cannot modify the machines before the deadline, LiuGong won’t offer warranty to the machines. Meanwhile, LiuGong won’t take responsible for the result that caused by unfinished repairing.

• Cause: The oil inlet and return pipes of the engine are connected reversely, which may lead to the failure of the filter, and there is a risk of damage to the engine oil pump, secondary fil-ter and fuel injector.

• Modification:check whether there is reverse connection of the whole machine. If there is reverse connection, exchange and adjust the fine filter oil pipe and the oil inlet and return pipe of the engine according to the rectification plan.

• Troubleshooting steps:

• 
  1、Remove the oil pipe connector marked in orange on the oil-water separator (as shown in the figure);
  2、Prepare the container to catch the oil drops at the disconnected pipeline position and start the whole machine.
  3、Observe the fuel flow direction.
  Result judgment:
  If the fuel flow direction is consistent with the mark on the oil-water separator (oil flows out from the oil-water separator), it is correct; Otherwise (oil flows out of the oil pipe), rectifica-tion is required.
  
  

  

• Step 3 -- Troubleshooting of fuel fine filter connecting pipes
  Troubleshooting steps:
  1、Make sure that the engine oil inlet and return pipes (connected to the oil-water separator and oil separator) are connected correctly;
  2、Disconnect the quick-connect plug (A in the figure) of the fuel pipe;
  3、Prepare to use a container to catch the oil drops at the disconnected pipeline position, and use a manual pump (C in the figure) to pump the oil;
  4、Observe the fuel flow direction while pumping the oil
  Result judgment:
  It is correct if the fuel flow direction is consistent with the mark (B in the figure) on the filter base (the oil flows out of the filter); Otherwise (oil flows out of the oil pipe), rectification is required
  

  

• Step 4 -- Rectification
  Rectification steps:
  1. Remove the sealing plate below the counterweight.
  Rectification tools:
  ① Outer hexagon sleeve 1/2 "-18; ② Electric gun
  

  

• Step 5 -- Rectification of oil inlet and return pipes
  Rectification steps:
  1、Reach to the oil outlet of the diesel engine (Figure 2), pull out the oil pipe, remove the clamp (Figure 4), and pull out the plug of the engine oil pump.
  Reach to the oil inlet of the diesel engine (Figure 5), remove the clamp (Figure 6), and ex-change the pipeline with the oil outlet pipeline in Figure 4.
  Rectification tools:
  ① Outer hexagon sleeve 1/4 -7; ② Sleeve type torque wrench 1/4 -3 Nm
  

  

• Step 6 -- Rectification of fuel fine filter connecting pipe
  Rectification steps:
  1. Reach to the fuel injection pump of the diesel engine and exchange the quick connectors of the two diesel oil pipes (Fig. 7); The number of the left outlet pipe is 5314827, and the number of the right inlet pipe is 5314828. The swap operation is shown in the video below. Restore the sealing plate after rectification.
