Machinery and Equipment

  • Must have walls and windows that are reasonable clean for operations in that area and free of unnecessary hangings.

  • Must have lighting systems that are in maintained in a clean and efficient manner.

  • Must have platforms that are clean, free of unnecessary materials and well lighted.

Grounds

  • Must be in good order, free of refuse and unnecessary materials.

2013 Executive Safety Initiative

  • Are the pressure components in good working order with no impairment (i.e. no improper modification, safety valves not gagged or other isolated, etc...)

  • Are the known lifting points identified and labeled with appropriate load limit.

  • Are all overhead cranes in proper working order and the inspections up to date?

  • Hazardous materials must be stored properly with adequate signage and secondary containment.

  • Explosion and fire hazards identified and properly addressed.

  • Material being transported must be in good order and secured so as not to shift during transport.
