  • Hazardous locations. Prisons, power stations, industrial sites, congested areas, danger areas, military sites, shooting ranges, pylons and transmitters

  • Local restrictions. Has site owner permission been granted?

  • Visible obstructions. Cables, trees, tall buildings, cliffs, terrain.

  • Extraordinary restrictions. Check AIS for gliders, balloons, kites, airships, events etc.

  • Natural habitation. Describe site and operating area. Any local protected wildlife ?

  • Comms. Is mobile phone coverage available.? Nearest mast? Contingencies? Internal comms plan?

  • Local contacts. Please include Police, Council, Fire service, landowner as required

  • Public access? Is corden required? Additional crowd controllers/observers? Please include public control plans and cordons.

  • Site access permission? Yes/no

  • Alternates. Please note any potential alternative operating sites and include any additional hazards

  • Weather. Forecast weather ( if within 72 hours) inc wind speed and visibility. If poss (if within 24 hours) reproduce local aerodrome forecast.

  • Separation. Please note. PFAW requirements and any additional local lateral and vertical restrictions that may be applied.
