Cavity fill completed as specified?

Gauging and bond are correct?

Cavity insulation correct type and size?

Cavity insulation is fixed correctly, close butted, clean and free from mortar?

Cavity width is as specified, cavity and ties are free from mortar and debris?

Movement control joints are formed, as designed?

Cavity ties are within specification, design and correct type?

Wall head restraints Installed as per detailed design?

Walls are tied in to cross walls or steel?

Wall ties are bedded at least 50mm into masonry leaves and are level or slope downwards to the outer leaf and drip point downwards /proprietary wall ties are laid the correct way up?

Wall ties are staggered in alternate courses and spaced in accordance with the design?

Extra ties are provided at jambs and reveals?

Extra ties are provided at openings, slab edges, movement joints and wall heads in accordance with the design?

Lintels, bedded correctly with 150mm minimum bearing?

Joint reinforcement (where applicable) is correct type?

Joint reinforcement bar are at least 20mm from external mortar face and at least 12mm from internal building faces?

Wind posts have been installed as per detailed design?

Masonry support angle has been torque tested and complies with the manufacturers installation instructions?

Designed overhang / embedment achieved on masonry support angle?

Padstones are installed as per the structral engineers specification?

Cavity barriers are installed as per the manufactures installation instructions?

Cavity barriers are installed to the fire strategies provided?

All cavity barriers have been accounted for as per the Chine FQA Schedule & photo evidence recorded?

Chine FQA checks are being completed and signed by the client?

DPC's are within specification, design and correct type?

DPC is flush with face or projecting, laps at least 100mm and sealed?

Cavity trays are installed; over cavity bridges (e.g. over doors, window openings, ducts and horizontal cavity barriers), at roof abutments, to exclude soil gas eg. Radon methane etc. Jambs in cavity walls?

Cavity trays have stop ends?

Weep vents are installed as design?

Position in plan of any point in relation to the building reference line and/or point at the same level is within 10mm?

Straightness in any 5m length +/- 5mm?

Verticality up to 3m height +/- 10mm?

Verticality up to 7m height +/- 14mm?

Overall thickness of walls +/- 10m?

Level of bed joints up to 5m for brickwork +/- 11mm?

Level of bed joints up to 5m for blockwork +/- 13mm?

Window and Door openings within architects tollerances in specification?

The masonry is correctly pointed and finished?

Pin holes/clamp holes filled in?

Panels are clean?

Impervious protection against rain and frost is provided?

Masonry is protected adjacent to scaffold boards?

Area is cleaned on completion of work?
