Coaching Victory Log

  • Purpose: This Coaching Victory Log provides a format to track the successful use of your coaching skills. You will be asked to share your victories and your log with your coach and Mine Manager.

Benefits: Giving yourself credit for the use of your coaching skills will help you build on each victory, no matter how small, and further refine your skills. Logging your victories will have an accumulative effect over time and the log will become a valuable reference for you in the future.

Directions: After a coaching session jot down what happened, the techniques you used, the results and your next steps.

  • SITUATION - Provide a brief description of the situation that required coaching:

  • COACHING TECHNIQUES - List the technique(s) you used

  • VICTORY - Describe the result of the coaching. For example, was an agreement reached? Was the individual receptive?

  • NEXT STEP/ACTIONS - List any next steps or follow up actions. You can also use this space to note what you will do differently next time.
