1.0 Pre-Construction Documents

  • 1.1 Applicable Technical Documents (IFC, RFIs, SIs, etc.)

  • 1.2 Waterproofing checklist has been completed prior to start pour. (If applicable)

2.0 Formwork, False work and Surface Preparation

  • 2.1 Formwork installed and secured in place as per contract documents and approved shop drawings; elevations, alignment and contract tolerances achieved, and have been inspected and verified by, signed off by P. Eng or Competent person.

  • 2.2 All embedded items (Hydrophilic strips, water stops, re-injectable grout tubes etc.) and openings within this section/unit are installed as per contract documents and shop drawings.

  • 2.3 Substrate materials or accepting concrete surface prepared roughened, hardener, >5'C<30'C etc.

  • 2.4 work area safe access/egress and working platform in place

  • 2.5 Formwork's Subcontractor completed checklist

  • 2.6 Check weather conditions, Curing measures on site - Burlap - Polythene - Thermal Blankets

  • 2.7 Formwork/ground clear of ice and debris and ready for concrete placement

  • 2.8 Construction joint check Concrete Surface (rough, cleanness, shape), Bonding Agent, etc.

  • 2.9 Expansion Joint was installed as per drawing details and supplier recommendations.

3.0 Reinforcement (Subcontractor and CTSC)

  • 3.1 Re-bars are installed and secured in place as per contract documents and reviewed shop drawings.

  • 3.2 Cover dimensions & splice lengths meet design & specifications, with adequate ties, chairs, & supports installed

  • 3.3 All embedded materials installed in proper location & orientation; adequately secured to prevent movement during the pour

  • 3.4 Surface Temp for rebar >5'C<30'C

  • 3.5 Completed Rebar's Subcontractor checklist.

4.0 Mechanical Conduits

  • 4.1 Mechanical Conduits and Sleeves are installed and secured in place as per contract documents, approved ITP, and shop drawings.

5.0 Pre-Pour preparation

  • 5.1 Anchor Bolts, steel plate are installed (dimensions, Layout) and protected.

  • 5.2 Survey layout completed. Critical dimensions and elevations checked as required.

  • Formwork Subcontractor Surveyor (name) SIGNATURE:

  • For Self-Performance Works: CTSC (Quality, Forman, Superintendent as applicable) will sign all the items above (2.0-5.0) where applicable
