Inspection Of Car Park Card Payment Devices

  • Have you carried out a check of all card payment devices to ensure that no<br>additional devices have been added to the front of the card payment devices

  • Are all card payment devices in working order?

  • Please note all Card Payment Devices identified within your asset register should be checked on a daily basis.<br>Report immediately to line management. <br>In the event that any sign of damage or tampering with any part of the equipment is apparent and lock the device off to stop customers using it.<br>Do not:<br>• Assume someone else has completed this check<br>• Don’t leave the machine or lane in use if you believe it’s been tampered with<br>• Don’t let anyone remove any unexpected cables or additions until approved by a line manager<br>• Don’t remove any device even if it’s faulty or a card is stuck inside<br>• If card payment machines are not operational, these units should be turned off and the fault reported to your maintenance provider.<br>
