  • The Pool Monitor Security Guard is required every Friday/Saturday from 12pm-8pm and possibly during long weekend holidays. This program will run until the end of Summer, end of Aug or mid September. Since the guard will primarily be outside, appropriate security attire is required. Be sure to drink plenty of fluids.

  • Pool guard responsibility:

    1. Guard must have a hotel radio and the Security Special Services Duty Device for
    communication/ security access keys to enter the pool.
    2. Assure all pool gates are secured and not obstructed with any items.
    3. Assure no glassware or outside food/alcohol.
    (Note: Food purchased in the Bistro/Grab and Go is acceptable).
    4. Assure no coolers/food trays/BBQ grills.
    5. Assure no outside music/radios/Bluetooth device speakers are being used.
    6. Check if towels/pool bathrooms are needing replenishment.
    Contact front desk/housekeeping.
    7. Make Hourly checks with the front desk with signature and with Security Special
    Services Dispatch using the duty device.
    8. After 8pm, the regular hotel guard will take responsibility of overseeing the pool)
    9. At 9:30pm Guard must announce to guest pool will be closing at 10pm. 10. 10pm (Main Guard) will need to assure pool is cleared and secured.
    11. If Hotel needs assistance, the Security Guard Pool Monitor will be available to
    assist with security duties (example: evict guest/warn guest).
