Ongoing Clean

  • Vehicle safely parked with ignition switched off.

  • Rubbish safely tied and no hazard risk (FOD)

  • All team is following the procedure to avoid cross contamination? (e.g. correct colour cloths being used)

  • Is every member of staff wearing the correct PPE for the task?

  • If staff are onboard, have they been able to explain the process for leaving an aircraft unattended?

  • Is staff are onboard, have they been able to explain the process for checking and challenging anyone boarding the aircraft?

  • If staff are not onboard, have all aircraft doors been fully closed and secured?

Cleaning Checklist

Flightdeck

  • Remove all rubbish from flight deck including around rudder pedals, seat pockets and stowage’s

  • Clean cup holders

  • Vacuum crew seats and clean seat harnesses

  • Vacuum floor including under rudder pedals

  • Clean floor surrounds

  • Thoroughly clean seats and arm rests, include fittings, seat buckle and anchor points of seat belts

  • Clean sidewall panels, trim surfaces and entrance door (both sides)

  • Clean inside stowage’s

  • Empty bins, scrub clean and disinfect

  • Wipe clean tray tables (if left open by flight crew or engineers)

Galleys

  • Remove all refuse from galley and areas

  • Thoroughly clean and sanitise P.A. mikes and handsets

  • Thoroughly clean crew seats. Use fine brush to ensure completely cleared of dust and debris

  • Remove trolley and canisters and scrub clean inside stowage's

  • Thoroughly clean coffee making units/water boilers, including trays. Remove lime scale

  • Scrub Clean and disinfect all sink, fittings and work surface. Remove lime scale

  • Vacuum clean galley and entrance floors, including mat. Include under door area

  • Scrub clean galley and entrance floors. Include under door area

  • Thoroughly clean all sidewalls. Use fine brush to clean all recesses

  • Thoroughly clean all ceilings. Use fine brush to clean all recesses

  • Ensure lighting panels and air vents are clean and clear of any dust

  • Thoroughly clean all the doors and frames

  • Ensure any gum is removed from galley and entrances

  • Ensure any ink/ pen mark is removed from galley and entrances

  • Galley ice drawer: remove base grill, scrub clean and disinfect. Ensure inside of drawer is also scrubbed cleaned and disinfected

  • Remove oven trays, spot check and clean the door and oven chamber as required removing dirt and debris

  • Remove waste from gash cart. Scrub clean & disinfect gash cart

Cabin

  • Check for any lost property (Refer to Section 7 of Ground Operations Manual)

  • Remove all refuse from cabin including hat bins, seat pockets, seats and hat bins

  • Remove seat base cushions, vacuum seat pan and ensure all dirt and dust removed, including around seat belt anchor points. Use fine brush to ensure completely cleared of dust and debris

  • Thoroughly clean arm rests and seat belt buckle

  • Remove any gum from seats

  • Remove any ink from seats

  • Thoroughly clean seat shrouds

  • Thoroughly clean seat frame and baggage bars. Use fine Brush

  • Thoroughly clean and polish all seat end panels and step ups

  • Thoroughly clean leather seat covers

  • Remove, dispose and replace any visibly damaged or missing safety cards, sick bags and seat pocket literature

  • Scrub clean, disinfect and dry both sides, latch and arm of all tray tables. Leave the tray tables out front row only

  • Untangle and cross seat belts

  • Clean all interior windows

  • Clean all interior windows recesses with fine brush

  • Thoroughly clean all window blinds and surrounds

  • Thoroughly clean sidewall panels (including area under side wall panels), bulkheads, Passenger Service Units (PSU) panels

  • Thoroughly clean Emergency Light Strip (ELS) panel and seat track capping

  • Thoroughly clean ceiling. Dust and clean recesses with fine brush

  • Spot clean carpet to remove vomit, inflight spillage, and other debris as required

  • Remove gum from carpet

  • Vacuum clean passenger seat floor area incl. behind bulkhead seats

  • Thoroughly clean overhead hat bins external surfaces. Thoroughly clean interior surfaces of the hat bins. Remove all scuff marks

  • Remove and replace soiled /damaged headrest covers from passenger seats, replace any missing headrest covers

Toilets

  • Empty and clean ash trays

  • Remove waste from waste bins. Scrub clean & disinfect waste containers

  • Thoroughly clean and disinfect side walls, doors, baby changing panel (both sides) and ceiling panels. Use fine brush to clean all recesses

  • Scrub Clean and disinfect hand basin, surrounds. Remove any evidence of scale and staining. Use fine brush to clean all recesses. Buff to shine

  • Scrub Clean and disinfect all surrounds and fittings. Remove any evidence of scale and staining. Use fine brush to clean all recesses. Buff to shine

  • Thoroughly clean inside and outside bowl, shroud, toilet seat, surrounds and disinfect. Include fittings and hinge surrounds. Scrub clean to remove stains. Include fittings and hinge surrounds

  • Clean mirror and buff to shine

  • Brush and scrub clean toilet floor, p ay attention to floor under stowage units. Ensure that the floor is dry after cleaning

  • Pour 100ml of Aerokleen® toilet into the bowls

  • Thoroughly clean stowage's, fittings, and behind stowage panels. Use fine brush to clean all recesses

  • Brush clean air vents and smoke detector panel

Safety Equipment

  • Remove all waste from around any safety equipment

  • Wipe clean external door services. Brush out dirt, wipe clean inside stowage, floors, doors and surrounds

Consumables

  • Ensure onboard cabin consumables and PPE are present, fully stocked and sealed

  • Clean the interior/exterior of the fire bags. If the bags are too dirty then replace with new ones. Check correct number of fire retardant bags are in place

  • Has the Disinfection Declaration been fully completed and left onboard?

  • Do the seal numbers on the document match the seals being used?
