Outside of vehicle.

  • Bull bar secure ( no sign of damage)

  • Vehicle posture ( how does it sit)

  • Vehicle body?

  • Tyre condition ( cuts, bits missing )

  • Tyre tread depth

  • Any damage or dangerous tyres should be defected ( contact equipment officer)

  • Tyre pressure (including spare )

  • All wheel nuts tight

  • Oil level

  • Coolant level

  • Oil and coolant levels need to be topped up by mechanics. You need to write a defect.

  • Any puddles of oil under vehicle.

  • No signs of coolant under vehicle

  • Window washer level

  • Side rear view mirrors

  • Headlights and tail lights secure

  • Lights in working order

  • Roof beacons secured and working

  • Warning lights on bulbar secure and working

  • Does the vehicle need washing?

Interior of vehicle

  • Seat belts in good condition

  • Seat belts retracted

  • Steering wheel secure ( no cracks, or pieces missing)

  • Windscreen ( good vision no chips)

  • Side windows clean

  • Lights inside cabin working

  • Fuel level minimum 1/2 full

  • Remember we aren' t allowed to add oil or change globes

  • Does the interior need cleaning?

  • Anything please indicate
