Objective 1: Provide RRT members with an opportunity to further develop and practice skills and procedures when responding to an EAD in a jurisdiction

  • 2.2 RRT members were briefed appropriately about PIRSA emergency response plans, other SA emergency management arrangements and the response scenario to date

  • 2.3 RRT members were deployed effectively (i.e. To the correct sections or where workflow demanded)

  • 2.4 RRT members supported PIRSA operations and integrated into SA emergency response structure effectively

Objective 3: Provide PIRSA personnel with the opportunity to practice arrangements for implementing PIRSA emergency response plans and activation, resourcing and working of the FRT in an EAD response

  • 3.1 PIRSA's emergency response arrangements were identified and available for reference during the exercise

  • 3.2 PIRSA's emergency response arrangements were applied by staff participating the in the exercise

  • 3.3 PIRSA utilized the RRT effectively (i.e. the balance of skills provided by the RRT was complementary to the PIRSA skill set)

  • 3.4 FRT members participated in the exercise and contributed to SA's response to the EAD scenario

  • 3.5 Industry and other agency participants were utilized and provided useful information

Objective 4: Practice and evaluate the application of BioSIRT during an emergency response and it's integration with SA's other information systems

  • 4.1 An appropriate BioSIRT template was available for use during the exercise

  • 4.2 Participants who used BioSIRT during the exercise were appropriately trained and skilled

  • 4.3 Data entry into BioSIRT occurred within defined timeframes

  • 4.4 Requested output reports from BioSIRT were generated in an acceptable timeframe and quality

  • 4.5 BioSIRT data integrated with other information systems (e.g. GIS) utilized in the exercise

  • 4.6 BioSIRT handled the volume of data inputted in the exercise
