OVERVIEW

Visual inspections should encompass the daily work area. The inspection will typically be made before each work task is undertaken. Therefore, all inspections should be made from ground level to ensure adequate safety. Under no circumstances should untrained or unauthorized persons handle, open, or work with energized electrical equipment.

All negative responses should be accompanied by a description of the deficiency, or problem which requires repair or adjustment. Photographs should be included when a verbal description is insufficient or otherwise helpful.
