Child Labour

  • How do you monitor this? (No children under the age of 15 may be employed under any circumstances. In addition, no child who has not completed either the ninth grade, or who has not attended school until the last school day of the year in which the learner has reached the age of 15 may be employed. Documentation to be on record. Ensure age verified on employment.)

  • Young persons special measures - check hours of work and that night work is avoided where possible by younger employees. Ensure that the younger employees do not perform potential hazardous work.

OSH Act Requirements
