Taking Care During the Busy Season

* 7 more Sundays until Christmas.
* Work has well and truly ramped up, so this is a timely reminder to take care during the busy season.
* With the festive season fast approaching, ensuring everyone remains safe becomes more critical. It's important to keep yourself safe and look after your fellow team members.
* The end of the year typically sees a spike in workplace injuries because people tend to rush, cut corners or their mind isn't on work - they're not concentrating.
* Always take care when operating any machinery including forklifts.
* Do not come to work under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
* Get enough sleep. Some people may have very busy personal lives with multiple Christmas parties and end of year get togethers but when you can, try get enough shut eye.

Evacuation Drill to be Performed today for OFFICE ONLY

Emergency/Fire Warden for the office is Shane.

1. It is best practice to conduct an Evacuation drill every year, to ensure the Emergency Preparedness of the business in the event of an emergency.

2. In the Event of an Emergency, you will hear a whistle blow 3 times and you will be instructed to Evacuate. You may hear a common Phrase of "Evacuate Evacuate Evacuate"

3. You will then proceed in an orderly manner to the Evacuation Meeting point at the front corner of the Driveway and Street. If this is too close to the emergency situation (Fire) - then move further along the street. Do not bring personal belongings.

4. Do not go home - do not sit in your car. Stay at the Emergency Meeting Point. Wait until you are told return or leave.

5. During the emergency - you must tell the Evacuation/Fire Warden if there are any people missing or have been injured or stuck.

6. As an Employee - you may attempt to put out the fire if you feel safe, you may help elderly or slow staff if safe.

7. Do not run back into the Area.
