  • Is stepped merchandising effect in place in the store?

  • Are all cases flush to the edge of the price strip?

  • Observation - During trading hours does EE use the 'one hand' principle?

  • Observation - Does the EE leave the last empty case on the shelf until more stock is worked?

  • Observation - Does the EE flat pack the cardboard into the decard trolley ?

  • Observation - Does the EE use a pallet when decarding Fruit and Veg ?

ACD Maintenance & Backstock Management

  • Spot Check 5 SHC's from each aisle. Are all SHC's correct?

  • Spot check 3 DISC line from the previous week SCAM. Are all lines flowed at the end of the flow?

  • Is the Ambient backstock laminate in place on the backstock units?

Working Smart

  • Is the huddle board being utilised?

  • Does EE have the pallet as close to the section as possible when working stock?

  • Are the lids of all stock on the top layer removed?

  • For cases not on the top layer all coloured lids should remain in place. Is this the case?

SCO Management

  • Is the SCO coordinator standing in the middle of the SCO area?

  • Do all decard trollies have metal attachment for bags to collect plastic ? (VERTAL BALER STORES ONLY)

  • Do all trollies have a basket attached ? (VERTAL BALER STORES ONLY)

  • Observation - When decarding is the EE in close proximity of the trolley?

ACD Maintenance & Backstock management

  • Is the F&V SOSIS in flow?

  • Are the delivery / working times set up correctly in the ACD?

  • Is the ambient backstock laminate in place on the backstock units?

  • Spot check 2 lines from each backstock unit. Are they accurate on the backstock list?

Working Smart
