    Good - Well planned and safe safeworking choice. All staff understands safeworking plan. Communication protocols followed.
    Best practice - Most efficient and safe choice of safe working with detailed safe working plan executed, all communication to NC efficient and precise and too a very high standard.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • Poor - No hi visibility clothing, and PPE being used with other workers allowing site works
    Fair - Hi visibility clothing being worn, PPE is being worn to complete works.
    Good - All workers wearing correct clothing for task. Relevant PPE being worn by workers on site to align with WMS, work instructions, operating manuals and PPE in good working condition.
    Best practice - All workers wearing correct hi visibility clothing. All PPE requirements attended with hazard identification identifying further PPE controls that are not current in relevant documents. Excellent condition of PPE

  • Poor - Stop boards, flags, & detonators not being used. Stop boards, flags & detonators in wrong position. Not questioned by responsible person or safe working staff. PO not inspecting worksite prior to track hand back.
    Fair - Stop boards, flags & detonators in position. Not questioned by safe working staff. PO checking with Handsignallers prior to track hand back.
    Good - PO engaging with hand signalers & Responsible Person to inform that correct positioning of equipment has been placed.
    Best practice - PO engaging with hand signalers & Responsible Person to inform that correct positioning of equipment has been placed. PO inspecting protection limits prior to handing track back.
