Step 1 - Contractor sign in at security

  • Security officer confirms legitimacy of contractor arrival at Faurecia with relevant Faurecia authorising officer.

  • Security officer explain basic site rules, no smoking, no alcohol, no drugs, etc. ...

  • Security officer issues all relevant paperwork & ID badges.

Step 2 - Pre work meeting between maintenance & contractors

  • Maintenance representative (MR) performs general induction; Fire safety, use of company equipment, accident reporting & first aid, amenities & areas of prohibition, banned substances etc...

  • Maintenance representative (MR) confirm precise safety rules (Especially applicable mandatory rules),reviews Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Permits To Work with ALL contractors involved in and relevant to the work to be performed.

  • All documents are signed by Contractor & Faurecia authorising agents

Step 3 - Equipment check by maintenance

  • MR checks contractors are wearing the necessary PPE and other critical safety items like safety harness before commencing work.

  • MR examines and confirms contractors equipment : Like electric / pneumatic tools, hot work equipment, ladders, safety equipment etc is in good condition

Step 4 - Supervision by maintenance

  • MR (or appropriate approved deputy) periodically supervises the contractors and checks that the contractors are complying with the agreed safetyrules and working practices.

Step 5 - Work inspection by Maintenance (after the work is done)

  • MR inspects the standard of work is satisfactory.

  • MR checks the work area is clean and tidy, all equipment is returned and in good condition, all personnel are accounted for.

  • On satisfaction *MR signs contractors Job sheet

Step 6 - Sign out at security and security checks

  • Security officer checks the contractors job sheet has been signed by the MR

  • Security officer searches vehicles before they leave site as perlocal security rules
