Mondial Ambulance Stretcher

  • The stretcher requires regular maintenance. Minimum maintenance intervals are set out in the maintenance section of the manual in pages 24 - 26.

Checklist

  • Are all the components present?

  • Is the stretcher free of excessive wear?

  • Are all the screws, nuts, bolts and rivets securely in place?

  • Inspect all visible springs - Is there any visible damage?

  • Do all moving parts operate smoothly and properly?

  • Does the stretcher lock properly into each position?

  • Does the bed attach securely to the stretcher?

  • Does the stretcher load and unload properly?

  • Does the stretcher roll smoothly?

  • Are the wheels free of excessive wear?

  • Do the wheels lock engage properly and stop wheel rotation?

  • Is the ambulance properly prepared for the stretcher with an approved Ferno fastner system installed?

  • Do installed accessories operate properly without interfering with the stretcher operation?

Lubrication of Stretcher

  • Does the stretcher require lubrication?

  • Please refer to page 26 as attached for instructions on how to lubricate the stretcher.
