  • Essential Site Safety Requirements; Site Specific Safety Requirements, PTS and other SWIs & RAs understood and to hand.

  • Competency Assessments, Authorisations and PTS Certification are in date.

  • Co.; Client; and Site aware of site visit and task details.

  • Any required contact with Site PIC/ signal operator, inductions & task reviews completed.

  • Correct PPE worn; site & tasks carefully assessed.

  • Working lines to be securely protected in accordance with Site Safety Requirements.

  • Checks made to confirm correct precautions for:<br>Close adjacent lines; powered transport risks; and prevention of hazardous rail vehicle movement and unauthorised pedestrian access.<br>

  • Checks made to confirm: work is effectively isolated from hazardous electrical and other power sources; and will not affect or approach nearby running lines; and power lines.

  • Work will stop in event of inability to comply with Safety Instructions, accident or other safety concern.

  • Point of Work Risk Assessment to be completed with Supervisor if unable to comply with Point 9 of Essential Site Safety Requirements.

  • Confirm the following steps to be taken on leaving:<br>• Personal safeguards removed; ensuring the area remains safe for others<br>• Sign-out (wherever appropriate) <br>• Near-miss form completion for any safety concern<br>• Email office to confirm departure time. <br>
