Pre-Arrival

  • Has FOD walk been completed prior to aircraft arrival?

  • Is stand free from all obstructions? Is all Ground Support Equipment (GSE) positioned well clear of the aircraft path, outside the Equipment Restraint Area (ERA)

  • Is the required amount of ramp staff and equipment on stand at 5?

  • Do all staff have the required PPE?

  • Is the aircraft docking guidance system operating, if not is the Marshaller ready on stand? Do they have battens with them for night ops or in the case of adverse weather conditions?

  • Is the TCO/ Arrival agent/ Coach (In remote operation) on stand at 5?

Aircraft On Stand

  • Do the ramp agents wait for propellers to spool down and anticollison beacon turned off before approaching aircraft?

  • Has the nose landing gear been chocked before GPU has been connected? Is the GPU connected as per SOP’s?

  • Are chocks positioned correctly at nose landing gear and main landing gear and verbally/visually confirmed to crew?

  • Has an arrival walk around been performed checking all areas of the aircraft for possible damage?

  • Have the safety cones been positioned correctly? ( weather permitting)

  • For Vehicles approaching the aircraft, have adequate brake checks been conducted?

  • Is a Banksman used for all vehicles approaching the aircraft?

  • Has the baggage conveyor been positioned correctly to the aircraft? Have all safety guards and rails where fitted, been deployed?

  • Are valet bags offloaded and available at the aircraft steps prior to the passengers disembarking? ( within 3 minutes of arrival)

  • Are inbound bags offloaded and sent to the baggage hall without delay? (within SLA)

  • Do ramp agents stay clear of the propellers when working around the aircraft?

  • Is fuel required? Does the Fuel truck have a clear exit route?

  • Is a headset agent available during fuelling if there are pax onboard?

  • Are the holds checked by the TCO and confirmed empty before loading of outbound bags/cargo?

  • Has the aircraft been loaded as per SOP’s?

  • Special loads/COMAT/EMD loaded? If yes are they loaded as per SOP’s?

  • Is there Cargo? If yes have all documents been received for Cargo?

  • Has Cargo been loaded as per SOP’s and LIR? Has Cargo been secured?

  • Has a NOTOC been completed and handed to cockpit crew?

  • Have outbound bags and Cargo been loaded for an on time dep?

  • After loading has been completed have all nets been secured by ramp agent and TCO before doors closing?

  • After loading has the LIR been completed and signed by the ramp agent and a crosscheck completed to ensure actual loading matches the final loadsheet?

  • Has the crew received the final loadsheet by 8min?

  • Headset/ Tractor/Tow bar available at 10min to dep?

  • Has all equipment not required for pushback been positioned outside the ERA and parked in a designated parking area?

  • Have all chocks and cones been removed and placed in the correct area on stand?

  • Has a predeparture walkaround been completed? Checking all areas as per SOP’s?

  • Has the tractor and towbar been connected as per SOP’s?

  • If there is a delay, was the delay code agree with the cockpit crew?
