  • Take a Picture of Under the Engine Bonnet, Under the floor plate or Under the Battery Cover

  • Is the truck a gas or diesel if yes check oil level take a photo of the engine oil level dipstick

  • Check Hydraulic Level is level ok ?

  • Take Photo of the Drivers compartment

  • Take Photo of the Dash board display

  • Did the default entry code work ok ?

  • Are all the drive settings set as standard unless stated otherwise ?

  • Does Truck have copy of T/Exam and is it in Date Please Take Photos of any other Paperwork (T/Exam, Service sheets and PDI Sheets etc ?

  • Take Photo of the Front of Truck

  • Take Photo of the Off side of truck

  • Take Photo of the Rear of Truck

  • Check all chain anchor safety bolts are fitted, are not loose to touch, if a new chain is fitted it must have the red anti tamper paint marking the locking nut.

  • Take Photo of the Near side of truck

  • Still Corporate Checks

  • Attachments: if any are fitted write the type and take a photo of the serial plate.

  • Is this forktruck a Battery operated truck, if yes take a picture of the charger, serial plate & battery plug type.

  • Extras - are there extras that are being sent with truck, like auto fill bottle or gas bottles etc. You can take photos.

  • Take a Photo of the Battery Plate if the battery has been regenerated take a photo of the label.

  • If the truck has fleet manager is it activated ? Take a Photo to the Fob?

  • Observations :- anything noted on truck not affecting quality or safety but has been picked up and recorded as an observation.

  • Minor :- anything noted as missed by the engineer as a quality issue. ie: paintwork demo truck, panel damage, not setup for spec requirements etc.

  • Major :- anything noted as missed by the engineer that could turn into a safety issue, ie: Through Exam Wrong, Load Chart Wrong, hydraulic hose worn threw but not leaking etc.

  • Critical :- anything noted as missed by the engineer considered as a health and safety risk, truck is unable to leave until urgent work has been carried out, ie: missing anchor bolt, no through exam, when nut loose etc.

  • Have all the faults found or identified been rectified (if needed take proof photos)

  • If the Truck is Safe and the QC is complete put in Out-Bay
