Working on Customers Premises

  • Is Vehicle parked safely and as close as practical to works location. Is sufficient access available for plant to be used on works. Are all safe cones and signage in place.

  • Has a site inspection been done, can you safely access work site and surrounding. Ensure you have correct address.

  • Have hazards been identified and controls put in place for excavation/trenching on private property

  • Have hazards been identified and controls been put in place for excavation/trenching on private property using plant.

  • Fibre optic construction, have hazards been identified and controls put in place, ie; protective eye wear, hand protection, sharps collection and disposal.

  • Has a working at heights assessment been completed if required to work above 2m or in roof cavity

  • Have hazards been identified and controls put in place when working in confined space ie; main switch board isolated, tagged, locked out. Spotter available.

  • Drilling into walls/ any medium. Have hazards been identified and controls in place. All services been located and isolated/locked out.

  • Work activities including installation of CPE cabling inside customer premises, have trip hazards, hazardous substances/chemicals, cabling- electrical cabling in vicinity of work area... Been identified.<br>Electrocution- faulty customer equipment, resultant potential hazards include insulation breakdown, earth leakage or poor workmanship by unqualified persons been identified.

  • Completion of work and cleanup. Site re statement and all rubbish and scraps collected and disposed of in correct manner.

  • Technicians signature to certify that all above measures are in place.
