Fire Prevention & Emergency Facilities

1. Ensure all flammable substances are properly handled, stored and marked with labels

2. Ensure storage of diesel drums with reasonable distance from any heat source

3. Provide appropriate fire extinguisher on board as per the license and in workable condition

4. Provide and maintain the first aid box is checked and replenished regularly

5. Provision of mobile phone or VHF radio (if necessary) on board for emergency call

6. Rescue boat is available at work location

3. Ensure all lifejackets are serviced by authorized agent/manufacturer at least once a year

4. Provision of Ear Protection Zone for workers at noisy area and provide workers with ear plugs

Machinery

1. Provide and maintain machine and moving parts with safety guards

4. Ensure all shackles and pins securely threaded with safety loop to avoid dislodge

5. Ensure that Form 1 (F&IU) for LA is duly competed weekly

Hand Tools
