You cannot start any works for GB Modular Pty Ltd unless you have completed your Employee Site Specific Induction, work specific risk assessment, all relevant works SWMS, and provided relevant permits & licences or tickets.

Provide copies of all relevent licences required held for your role at GB Modular Pty Ltd as per below list. Photos required of front and back of licences.

Fire and Emergency Evacuation
-
During a Fire or Emergency Evacuation, locate our Fire and Emergency Warden and wait for further instruction.

Have you been introduced to Adrian Smith?

Our Fire and Emergency Evacuation Plans are installed at each exit point within the building.

Have you familiarised yourself with the plan and noted assembly points?
-
Our external assembly point is the vacant lot next to the building.
-
Our internal assembly point is the back roller door exiting to Marble Drive.
-
In the case of a fire or site emergency, locate site Warden and wait further instruction.
-
If advised by the Warden, move to the assembly point and await further instruction.

In an emergency situation, DO NOT re-enter the building until the “All Clear” is given by the responding Emergency Services.
First Aid and Incident Reporting

The First Aid Supplies are located on the left of the Storeroom sliding door.

Any First Aid requirement you have providing access to the First Aid Supplies must be reported to the First Aid Officer.

You are required to report all accidents/incidents involving any person on site to your site First Aid Officer.
Hours of Work
-
All floor and onsite staff are expected to work from 6:00am to 3:30pm daily. Overtime and weekend work may also be required.
-
The last 30 minutes in the work day is to be used for packing away materials and cleaning. NO BLOWING OF DEBRIS/DUST OFF THE FLOOR.

Lunch breaks are 45 minutes long. Staff can use the Lunchroom at the back corner of the shed.

All roller and PA doors are to be opened by the first person to arrive each morning.
Uniforms
-
All staff are required to wear the GB Modular uniform each work day (excluding Fridays - except for important dates and visits to be advised)

The required minimum uniform is:
-
GB Modular High Visibility Shirt - for factory staff. 2 x shirts provided to you each year.

Steel Capped Boots
-
Long pants and high visability long sleeve shirt are to be worn for all external work site. Shorts are acceptable in the shed.
Site Parking
-
All employees are to park on the road or driveways. NO PARKING ON THE MEDIAN STRIP

Note: Contractors are to park on Eurora Street.
General

The toilets are located centrally along the left hand side wall of the shed.

No staff are permitted to enter the storeroom unless instructed by the Operations Manager
-
No staff are permitted to enter or walk through the office and meeting rooms unless requested by a manager.
-
Smoking areas are located 5 metres from the front of the lunch room and front (western side of the shed)
Forklifts
-
ALWAYS give way to forklifts keeping a 3 metre exclusion zone.

NEVER stand under any suspended loads
