Are staff compliant with the hand washing procedure?
Are the staff compliant with the protective clothing policy? (no foreign object, free from uncovered pockets, hooded clothing tucked in to hi-viz vest, long sleeve).
Are staff wearing any jewellery? (exception plain wedding band)
Are fingernails short and varnish free?
Is there any evidence of false eyelashes on the members of staff?

Is the all packaging covered and stored correctly?
Is the customer crates and boxes used according to their intended purpose?
Is the packing area clean, tidy and in good repair (including ceilings, walls and floors)?
Are areas free of a build up of waste?
Are there any doors to the outside left open?
Is the lighting sufficient and in good working order?
Is appropriate and legible signage is in place?
Is the cleaning equipment clean and stored correctly?
Are the machines clean and in good working order ( free from tape and cardboard)?
Are the pallet trucks clean and in good working order?
Are pest control bait boxes and EFKs in good working order and no signs of pest ingress?
Is there any packaging left on packing lines?
Are all members of staff wearing the correct PPE?
Is all paperwork, filled out correctly and accurate?
Are all pallet labels intact?
Are there any crates or boxes stored directly on the floor?
Are there any uncontrolled knives in the area inspected?
Is there any evidence of eating or drinking in the area?
Is there any evidence of contamination risks?

Are all areas clean, tidy and in good repair (including ceilings, walls and floors)?
Are the desks and equipment in good repair and clear of unnecessary potential contaminants?
Is there any evidence of eating or drinking in the area?
