Station SQR Checklist

1 - Toilets

  • 1a - Toilets - are they clean / floors mopped / no toilets paper on floors?

  • 1b - Toilets - is the accessible toilet open and available?

  • 1c - Toilets - are the hand dryers all working?

  • 1d - Are all toilets fully functional / check for loose seats / locked out cubicles etc.

2 - Waiting Rooms

  • 2a - Waiting Rooms - are they clean?

  • 2b - Waiting Rooms - are the doors / accessible buttons working?

  • 2c - Waiting Rooms - are the posters ok, straight and visible?

  • 2d - Waiting Rooms - is the seating ok? No rips / tears and clean?

  • 2e - Waiting Rooms - are the opening times present?

  • 2f - Waiting Rooms - is the lighting fully working?

3 - Posters

  • 3a - Posters - are all the posters up to date?

  • 3b - Posters - are they all straight / not slipped / no damage / fully visible?

  • 3c - Posters - are the frames clean / in a good condition / perspex not cloudy?

4- Subways / Footbridges

  • 4a - Subway / Footbridge - are all the lights working?

  • 4b - Subway / Footbridge - are the lifts in full working order / clean?

  • 4c - Subway / Footbridge - is it clean / tidy / are treads in a good condition?

5 - Ticket Office / S&B Machines

  • 5a - Ticket Office / S&Bs - is the ticket office open as advertised?

  • 5b - Ticket Office / S&Bs - is the leaflet rack fully stocked / as per spec?

  • 5c - Ticket Office / S&Bs - is the area clean around ticket office / leaflets?

  • 5d - Ticket Office / S&Bs - are all the TVMs fully working and clean?

  • 5e - Ticket Office / S&Bs - try connection to VITA team, if not working fault to S&B

6 - Platform Areas

  • 6a - Platform Area - is all the seating ok / clean / no damage?

  • 6b - Platform Area - is shelter seating ok / clean / no damage?

  • 6c - Platform Area - is platform surface ok / no defects / raised edges / tripping hazards etc.?

  • 6d - Platform Area - is all signage up to date? NO empty poster / snap frames?

  • 6e - Platform Area - are all bin hoops in place / with bags / safe?

  • 6f - Platform Area - is there any vegetation encroaching on to platforms / in front of signage?

  • 6g - Platform Area - is all lighting on where required, fault any lights out

7 - CIS / Help Points / PA

  • 7a - CIS / Help Points - is the help point clean and working?

  • 7b - CIS / Help Points - make a test call? Did it connect quickly? Can they hear you ok?

  • 7c - CIS / Help Points - are all the CIS screens working? Announcements clear and audible?

8 - Wheelchair Ramps

  • 8a - Ramps - are all the ramps in the correct place?

  • 8b - Ramps - are they in a good condition with no obvious faults?

9 - Cycle Parking / Compounds / Car Parking

  • 9a - Cycle Compound - is the compound secure / access controls working?

  • 9b - Cycle Compound - is the compound clean and tidy, no litter laying around?

  • 9c - Cycle Compound - are all bikes within the compound, not chained to fencing, no abandoned bikes etc?

  • 9d - Car Park - is the car park clean / tidy / lights working as required?

10 - Vegetation / Litter / Decoration etc.

  • 10a - Vegetation / Litter - is all vegetation under control, not encroaching on public areas? Check car parks, cycle compounds etc.

  • 10b - Vegetation / Litter - is all litter under control? Are there areas that are poor i.e. embankments / trackbed?

  • 10c - Decoration - is there any areas that obviously look damaged / need repainting?

11 - Fault Reporting

  • 11a - Faults - are we up to date on reported faults?

  • 11b - Faults - has the fault checklist been checked?

  • 11c - Faults - Have reported Faults got reference numbers?

12 - Car Park Surfaces

  • 12a - Car Parks - Is the driveable surface good / no potholes etc?

  • 12b - Car Parks - Is the walking routes safe / marked / no trip hazards?

  • 12c - Car Parks - Are any car park machines working?

  • 12d - Car Parks - Is all signage in place?
