  • THIS FORM SHOULD RECORD ITEMS THAT REQUIRE MORE THAN A VISUAL INSPECTION

    Work equipment (as detailed in Regulations). The scope of ‘work equipment’ covers almost any equipment (including lifting equipment+) used at work, including:
    (a) ‘Tool box tools’ - hammers, knives, handsaws, etc.
    (b) Single machines - drilling machines, circular saws, cement mixers, FLTs, dump trucks etc.
    (c) Laboratory/Workshop apparatus – cameras, splicing tools, jointing equipment etc.
    (d) Other equipment - ladders, pumps, generators, cut off saws etc.

    All work equipment must be supplied and maintained in an efficient state, in efficient working order and in good repair. Where any item of work equipment has a maintenance log, the log must be kept up to date.
