General

  • Is work area clean, neat and orderly?

  • Is floor well maintained and dry and free from slip hazards?

  • Are materials on shelves and storage areas being stacked and stored in a stable condition to prevent falling?<br>

  • Is it light enough in all common areas and work areas?

  • Are fire extinguishers identified, mounted and located where they are readily accessible with no obstructions?

  • Is there an easily accessible and stocked first aid kit?

  • Is there 18" of clearance around all fire sprinkler heads?

Hazard Communication

  • Are containers properly labeled?

  • Must have product name, emergency contact #, hazards, manufacturers name

  • Are containers leaking?

  • Are flammable liquids stored in a fire proof cabinet?

Electrical

  • Are extension cords in good condition and used for temporary purposes?

  • Are power cords in good condition and organized out of the way to prevent trip hazards?

  • Is there 36" of clearance around electrical panels?

  • Are electrical panels in public areas always closed and locked?

  • Are all switches in electrical panels marked "on" or "off", labeled an there are no openings in the panel?
