Cut Buttons

  • Guillotine should only strike on when both cut buttons are depressed within 0.5 sec of each other.

  • Guillotine should not strike on when each control is operated independently and reset in turn.

  • Guillotine should not strike on when one cut button is operated followed by the other after 2-3 seconds delay.

  • Guillotine should not strike on when cut buttons are operated within 0.5 sec but if one is released mid-way through the stroke and re-operated.

Light Barrier

  • Is the guard indicator operating correctly (where fitted)?

  • Is the recommended test piece detected (3 places)?

  • Does the knife and clamp stop when the light barrier is interrupted during stroke.

  • Is the fixed rear table guarding fitted and secured or does the interlocked access gate prevent powered knife and clamp movement?
