  • What excites you about working in the fitness industry?

  • In your past experience as a gym instructor can you tell us about a time that you have delivered great customer? What was the situation and the outcome?

  • A patron complains that one of the treadmills is moving around while working out, however when you investigate all seems in order. What actions would you take to rectify this complaint?

  • What do you think is important to a customer entering our centre? In your role as a gym instructor, how can you help us create this?

  • Tell us about a recent situation where you had to deal with an upset customer. How did you go about dealing with the customer and what was the outcome for the customer?

  • Can you tell us of a time when you've had a customer provide you with poor feedback about another staff member who had written a program that had not met the members needs? Can you talk us through how you dealt with this situation?
