First Aid Kit Contents

  • You must have access to First Aid, it is mandatory to carry a First Aid kit in your subcontractor vehicle.
    Your First Aid kit must comply with "First Aid in the workplace, Code of practice 2018"
    The first aid kit must be kept in a prominent accessible location and should provide basic equipment for administering first aid for injuries including:
    Cuts, scratches, punctures, grazes and splinters, muscular sprains and strains, minor burns, amputations and/or major bleeding wounds, broken bones, eye injuries and shock.
    Confirm your first aid kit has the mandatory quantities of the below items, you must carry the minimum amounts as set in the Code of Practice.

  • Instructions for providing first aid—including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) flow chart (1)

  • Resuscitation face mask or face shield (1)
